Raindrop Technique is one of the most exciting and innovative aromatherapy treatments being practised throughout the world today. It is a truly incredible technique and has been developed as a result of inspiration from the traditions of the Lakota Indians. This native tribe travelled into Canada to experience the great wonders of the Northern Lights 'Aurora Borealis', as they believed the light from this spectacle assisted great healing to take place. They would draw this light up their spines and allow it to fill their bodies, minds and spirits. Once the border between America and Canada was created, they could no longer carry out this healing journey and so they developed a technique using feathers on the spine to mimic the light and energy flow.
